How to assess patients more rapidly (and more efficiently) ?

It takes some time before assessments are made (+12/24 hrs.)

Impact - effect

The number of problems that a patient appoints, increases exponentially with the increase in number of hours after the demand. Therefore the crisis triggering factor is not always clear.  As a result, more targets or goals arise, and this can lead to a longer duration of interventions.  In addition, the referrer wishes immediate support, and this is not often experienced as such

To do

To do: when the AMT (dealing with demands and referrals) is dealing with a crisis situation with elements of suicide and a demand for hospitalisation, a referral to the crisis team for assessment should be the next step instead of a screening by the AMT
