How can we work effectively with the doctors (attending doctors, in this case, GPs)?
Problem description
At present, GPs are not always asking more communication or information exchange, they are most of the time overwhelmed by their clientele and little available. We invite attending doctors regularly, for meetings and consultations. So it might take a while before they are informed
Impact - effect
The GP is often the confident person or counselor for the client. But because of the lack of availability it’s often difficult to work with them as they take on the role of central reference person for the client
To do
To do : to take on the pivot role the GP or attending physician needs supportive instruments. An efficient IT-system, allowing a rapid information exchange regarding the client and quick communication between doctor and other professionals
